A home-sharing relationship can be extremely beneficial to both landlord and tenant. However, in order to ensure this mutual benefit, it is important to choose the right housemate. Here, mutual respect is key. In this session, Annamarie Pluhar discusses how to create and maintain positive home-sharing relationships. In addition, Amy Applegate discusses how her organization, SHARE Sonoma County, has developed a home-sharing program, to help individuals in her community find, and keep, affordable housing.
