The high cost areas of our country will not create enough housing to meet demand until new development models are scaled. The mainstream "market-rate" development and publicly funded affordable housing development play important roles and can be grown & improved, but are not sufficient. New Way Homes has been working for 6 years to prove solutions for filling this gap in northern CA. NWH works to maximize affordability with (mostly) private financing. This talk will tell NWH's story thus far, give specifics on projects including financing & partnership structures, and share our key learnings and plans for the future.
